We Hosted Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, and We Even Made Fougasses!
We welcomed Twitch CEO : Daniel Clancy and even cooked him fougasses! And all under the magnificent zenithal light of the beautiful city of Montpellier, Ville, Métropole and CCAS. ☀ When Twitch contacted Christian Montoy (Poca), co-founder of Guru World, during Dan's visit to Montpellier for an event, our extreme gourmet had the great idea to have him prepare a typical regional dish: the Montpelliéraine fougasse (also known as fougasse aux fritons). 😋
Dan was joined by streamers Pressea, EventisFR, and Hiuuugs for the occasion. They gathered around a table at restaurant La Tavola, embarking on their unique culinary journey by carefully selecting ingredients to personalize their recipes. Cooking is a bit like that—a moment that can become playful while allowing creativity to flourish. We carefully selected and prepared fresh local ingredients, all under the guidance of an Italian chef who assisted and provided valuable tips during the preparation of their dishes.
This shared experience concluded with the tasting of these famous fougasses and a discussion about the lives and activities of our guests on Twitch (the American live video streaming service). A beautiful and delicious day overall—a perfect moment!
